Ingleburn locationAbout the role and teamWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety and Risk Coordinator to join our dynamic and fast-paced Mobile Speed Cameras team.
The Mobile Speed Cameras contract is a high-profile operation with approximately 120 staff members, requiring robust safety and risk management protocols due to the diverse range of activities and high level of scrutiny.You will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all personnel and maintaining a safe working environment.
Reporting to the Contract Lead (Alex), you will work closely with the onsite G4S management team, frontline workforce, and internal/external stakeholders to achieve these objectives.Shape and Build Safety: This is an exciting time to join us as we have just completed a safety management system assessment and gap analysis.
You will have a real opportunity to make your mark and implement new safety improvements.Complex and Multi-Faceted Exposure: Gain experience across multiple sites and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies, offering valuable career advancement opportunities.Focus on Solutions and Business Partnership: Find solutions to manage risks within the context of a high-volume, multi-vehicle contract.Key responsibilities include:Developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs.Conducting audits and investigations.Managing risks and fostering a strong safety culture.Developing and maintaining the Document Control Database.Supporting risk management activities, including identification, analysis, and mitigation.What we're looking forDemonstrated experience in safety and risk management.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to work.The recruitment processG4S runs a staged recruitment process which includes:Applying online with a CV.Shortlisted applicants will have a call with our Talent Advisor to learn more about the role.Interviews with the Contract Lead and GM of Health and Safety.Background checks, including a National Police Check, a Reference check + ID form.#J-18808-Ljbffr
