As the Built Form Development Manager at Johnson Property Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's construction and development projects.
This full-time position is based in Cooranbong, NSW 2265 and will see you leading the strategic planning, design, and delivery of complex construction initiatives that are fundamental to the company's growth.
What you'll be doing Oversee the end-to-end management of built form construction projects, from concept to completion Implement cost-effective strategies and ensure compliance with design and construction specifications Liaise with design teams, clients, consultants, and authorities to achieve project milestones Manage pre-construction activities and ensure all necessary approvals and clearances are obtained Prepare tender documents and manage the tender evaluation process Main point of contact during construction, overseeing project delivery and managing all on-site activities Monitor project progress, budget, and quality compliance, reporting regularly to the development team Resolve conflicts, handle complaints, and ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders Implement quality, safety, and environmental control systems throughout the project lifecycle Identify and mitigate risks, implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on track What we're looking for At least 8 years post-graduate experience in construction management, in the property development industry Experience working in multi-level residential apartment projects is essential Demonstrated expertise in project planning, project management and programming, contract administration, design management and client relationship management Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of running site based teams, client liaison and subcontractor and stakeholder management Motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and can work to tight schedules with good time management skills Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code, Building Code of Australia and Design and Building Practitioners Act.
