ABOUT THE ROLE
This role offers a great opportunity for someone who has studied HR and is seeking an entry level HR role to gain experience across the overall employee lifecycle, ideally with initial exposure to recruitment.
We are looking for someone who shows initiative, can get things done, keeps confidentiality and communicates professionally.
This role offers part-time (2-3 days p/w) engagement and is located in Hexham, NSW.
Key responsibilities include:
Executing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
Maintaining employee records and providing assistance with HR inbox and incoming queries
Working closely with the HR Advisor and Payroll Officer
Assisting with onboarding, inductions, training and offboarding
Providing assistance with HR-related queries where possible, help raise issues that require prompt solutions
Supporting HR initiatives related to employee engagement and retention
Ensuring compliance with internal HR policies & relevant legislation
ABOUT YOU
Tertiary qualification in HR (or currently pursuing), or equivalent experience in the HR area – min.
1 year in HR role, ideally with a focus on recruitment and/or employee management
Initial understanding of Australian employment laws & regulations, and willingness to further learn
Interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent typing and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Professional verbal communication skills and problem-solving
Intermediate to advanced MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems
