We are looking for an awesome Senior Accountant to join our growing public practice team alongside other entrepreneurial and commercially minded rockstars. This permanent, full-time opportunity plays a key role in BlueRock's success and allows you to partner with some of Melbourne's coolest entrepreneurial business owners.
What you'll be doing: You will be working with a diverse range of clients on everything from:
Tax consulting including employee share schemes, restructuring, and adviceStrategic business planningSupporting our up-and-coming talent to develop and growFinancial modelling and forecastingWorking alongside other teams within BlueRock to identify opportunities to collaborate on client engagementsFrom a compliance point of view, you will play a role in our team to ensure our clients meet compliance and tax obligations, including:
Preparing financial statements and income tax returnsPreparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and FBT ReturnsAbout BlueRock Accounting BlueRock Accounting is our original and largest team here at BlueRock. We want to hear from people who have:
3-5 years of experience within a mid-tier accounting firmPrevious experience mentoring and coaching graduates and junior team membersDegree qualification and are CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)Strong level of technical advisory proficiency; with tax and consulting/modelling engagements, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and valuationsExcellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skillsOur people love to work for us, here's why
