Coordinating your passion?
We are organizing a new role with ourselves for a Logistics Coordinator.
You'll be organizing the shipping and transitions of our equipment to the site and ensuring proper receival of goods.
Basic Job RequirementsWhat does your day look like?
• Working with different disciplines within the project (i.e.
expediting, procurement, material management, quality and engineering) to ensure delivery of correct items on time.
• Managing the freight forwarder (documents required for transport bookings, double checking vessel and airline bookings online).
• Utilising the correct different shipping methods (RoRo, Break Bulk, containerised, etc.)
for each piece of equipment.
• Executing projects in Aus dealing with Australian Quarantine & Biosecurity requirements.
• Shipping fabricated steel and oversize modules is a usual thing.
Other Job RequirementsAbout You:
• Previous Experience in a coordinator role for major contracts.
• Ability to communicate effectively across different disciplines.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc).
• Previous experience in mining/construction contracts.
• Strong commitment to team safety.
• Career aspirations to work on interesting and challenging projects.
• Experience with the Logistics module in MatMan.
• Good understanding on how to read general arrangement, lifting drawings and material safety data sheets.
