About the role Responsibilities Build and contribute to the design of mobile banking platformDesign, develop, review, implement, and manage application code and services for the production and pre-release environmentsParticipate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams to build mobile appsUnderstand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistentMonitor for and anticipate platform trends and upcoming critical changesMonitor client feedback for problems and proactively schedule resolutions where neededWork with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes and toolingProvide robust coding practices and solid unit and component test coverage, and code debuggingProvide technical guidance and leadership to other development staff.Essential requirements A strong interest and passion for mobile developmentAndroid development experience, Kotlin and Java (6+ years)Experience with architectural patterns - Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVP, SMVP, MVCStrong awareness of the banking and finance industry, trends and threats (technology, products, regulatory environment)Proven experience as a senior developer working within Agile teams.
Expected to contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes, tools, strategies and methodologiesAbility to step up and provide technical leadership and guidance where requiredBe able to balance the often competing priorities of quality, time and scope with a well-considered approachExperience in mentoring and sharing knowledge with your peersExcellent communication, written, and presentation skillsExperience calling RESTful JSON servicesExperience with open source libraries such as RxJava, Dagger 2, CoroutinesExperience writing highly tested code within a shared code base and applying best practice principles and techniques agreed on by the wider teamExperience working with CI/CD software development pipelinesExperience working in Scrum and associated agile techniquesExperience with using GIT for software version controlCI/CD pipeline creation, maintenance and enhancementsAutomated UI test development experience (Espresso)Knowledge of MVVM or MVP patterns, both preferableAndroid Jetpack experience (LiveData, Data Binding)Multi-threaded development and debugging experienceExperienced across the full software delivery life cycle (planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance)Join Trideca: Where Innovation Meets Inclusivity
