You will be working in the community with older adults experiencing mental health issues who may be living in their own homes, with family, or in RACF.
You will be providing recovery-oriented, person-centred biopsychosocial care planning and interventions reflected in all aspects of your practice and service delivery.

The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership.
The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes.

Approved post graduate nursing qualifications in a field relevant to the specialty field or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the organisationDemonstrated evidence of strategies used to maintain current knowledge of clinical practice advances and research in the relevant specialtyDemonstrated ability to apply expert knowledge to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsiveDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needsDemonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they ariseDemonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of advanced evidenced based nursing careDemonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplaceApplicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
