This includes:
Specialist training opportunitiesBuddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support WorkersOpportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.We invest $5,000 in training in your first year.We currently have permanent positions in Elanora Heights and Mona Vale, and other suburbs within the Northern Beaches.
We can consider local candidates to the Northern Beaches and North Shore region. Your duties will include: Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administering medication and manual handlingSupporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independentSupporting clients to engage and participate in their communityBuilding positive relationships with our clientsTransporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicableRequirements A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) is preferredLive locally to the locations mentioned aboveImportant information: At CPA the safety of our staff and clients is of paramount importance.
We have assessed this role type as requiring a high level of physical functionality with some inherent requirements.
