As the Financial Controller, you will partner with the Directors and General Manager and provide visibility and clarity on the financial performance of the business.
You will have the opportunity to grow your career and build the finance function.This position is suited to someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of a business and is eager to play a key role in driving financial performance.
You will bring confidence to take initiative and add valuable insights.
You will be comfortable operating in the detail with more routine finance tasks while having a growth mindset to improve and support the commercial decision-making for the business.The ChallengeAs the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial clarity, shaping their financial strategy, and ensuring operational excellence.
Your responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:Managing daily finance operations, including financial planning - forecasting, analysis, and providing actionable insightsCompleting month-end, including balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing monthly financial reporting through to Directors and the General ManagerPreparing annual budgetsAnalysis of financial data and collaboration with wider business divisionsPreparing payroll, accounts payable, and receivableIdentifying and improving systems and processesThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:You are a qualified CA or CPA with 6-10 years of professional working experienceYou are excited by fast-growing and progressive environmentsExperience in hands-on, senior finance roles will be looked upon favorablyDemonstrated communication skills and ability to suit a close-knit stable team environment with a warm, open, and engaging style with the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholdersXero experience is desirableThe Next StepIf this position will enhance your career and you would like further details on the client, the role, remuneration, or a copy of the position description, please call Monique Wilson for a confidential discussion on 0427 363 464.
