Tax Manager - Global Fintech, Hybrid Working Model $140K - $150K base + super + bonus The Role This newly created Tax Manager position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within an ASX-listed fintech with an international footprint.
Reporting directly to the Group Head of Tax, you'll lead on all direct and indirect tax matters across multiple regions, including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, and Canada.
You will oversee income tax, transfer pricing, R&D tax incentive, GST/VAT, and more, supporting compliance and contributing to strategic tax initiatives.
In this role, you'll: Prepare current and deferred tax calculations for statutory reporting.
Manage tax compliance, including GST/VAT, payroll tax, and annual income tax obligations.
Collaborate with the finance team for month-end tax processes, tax journal reviews, and account reconciliations.
Provide tax advice and support to various business units.
Drive automation and transformation of GST processes to enhance efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate You bring demonstrated tax experience from a Big 4 background, with a track record in a fast-paced environment.
As a trusted advisor, you have the analytical acumen to manage complex tax matters independently and the communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Your proactive approach to continuous improvement will be key in a role that thrives on innovation and adaptation.
We are looking for someone with: Professional tax experience in the financial services sector within a Big 4 or ASX-listed company.
In-depth knowledge of corporate tax, tax effect accounting, and tax reporting.
A degree in finance or a related discipline and CA (or equivalent) qualifications.
A process-improvement mindset, especially around data and automation.
