Glencore employs over 145,000 people and operates around 150 mining and processing sites, oil production assets, and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThe successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team responsible for breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure maximum equipment availability across our plant. You will be responsible for:Timely completion of electrical and instrumentation equipment repairs and preventative maintenance;Undertake installation of new electrical/instrumentation equipment under Permit to Work orders;Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards & regulations;Contribute to the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System.About YouThis role would suit a competent, experienced electrician/instrument technician who possesses the following qualifications and technical expertise:Western Australian 'A' Grade Electrical LicenceCert IV Electrical InstrumentationContinuous processing plant maintenance experienceHV switching certificate (desirable)Hazardous area training/experience (desirable)What We OfferWe offer a diverse range of opportunities across our multi-pit mining operations through to our complex and technically challenging hydrometallurgical process plant.
