We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Risk & Resilience Specialist to join our team on a 2-year fixed term basis and help drive our enterprise risk management initiatives.
The Role In this strategic role, you will work closely with Heads of Function, Area Managers, and Function Groups to ensure effective management of enterprise risk and resilience across Western Power.
Your expertise will be vital in providing advice and guidance to senior executive and management teams in relation to risk exposures and appropriate management strategies, driving informed decision-making, and fostering a risk-aware culture.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction and commercial advice in relation to large critical projects undertaken by the business where Enterprise Risk & Resilience performs a supporting role.Development of risk processes, including key reporting to Board and Finance and Risk Committee.Lead the implementation and ongoing review of the enterprise risk management and resilience frameworks and associated processes.Contribute to successful outcomes in relation to projects where Enterprise Risk & Resilience provides a supporting role.Support and assist Enterprise Risk & Resilience Manager in the development and implementation of risk management and resilience initiatives, as required.About You Our ideal candidate will have experience and attributes that include:
Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Legal, Engineering, Risk Management, or other relevant academic degree.Extensive and demonstrated years' experience in the provision of strategic advice and guidance to senior management on risk and resilience-related issues.Extensive experience in the provision of strategic risk advice, project management, and change management.Experience in developing and delivering risk management and resilience education programs.Experience in establishing and facilitating enterprise risk management reporting and solutions.Our People Are Our Priority Our people play a vital role in creating an innovative, safe, and supportive workplace, living our values and delivering exceptional service to the communities in which we operate.
