We currently have a full-time position available for an on-road Motor Assessor.
About the role At AAMC, you'll never be bored.
You won't be stuck in a single location completing dull, repetitive work.
You'll have the flexibility that you need to achieve a balance between your work life and your personal life.
Your days will be interesting and varied, and will help you grow and develop as an assessor.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and preparing detailed assessment reportsNegotiating, monitoring, and communicating outcomes to clients and claimantsManaging relationships with repairersControlling client costs in line with business requirementsCalculating vehicle values in line with accepted industry guidelinesUndertaking local and regional travel (as required)About us AAMC are Australia's leading motor accident management and assessing specialist.

About you To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
Solid understanding of the insurance assessing industryMotor vehicle trade qualified (preferred) – preferably Panel Beating or spray paintingExperience as a repair shop manager or estimator (preferred)Knowledge of MS Office applicationsExcellent communication skills – written and verbalExceptional negotiation and influencing skillsSelf-motivated and able to work autonomouslyNational Australian Police Check and willingness to obtainWhat's in it for you? We currently have assessors all over Australia specialising in digital/video assessing, heavy motor vehicles, machinery, motorcycles, prestige and exotic vehicles, liability, and litigation assistance.
Scope for promotion is also available for the right candidate.
Many of our senior assessors started with the company as assessors.
