About the role
As the Licensee / General Manager of the Pier Hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations.
This is a full-time position based in Coffs Harbour Jetty, NSW 2450.
You will be the key decision-maker, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and profitably while maintaining high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.

What you'll be doing
Manage and lead the hotel's staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and scheduling Oversee the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and licensing requirements Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones Monitor and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and guest experience Represent the hotel and liaise with local authorities, industry bodies and the community Continuously seek opportunities to improve the hotel's operations and profitability What we're looking for
Extensive experience (7+ years) in a similar Licensee or General Manager role within the hospitality industry A thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front office, food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve business objectives Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Advanced Licensee qualification NSW RSA & RCG / Advanced RCG Qualifications in Hospitality Management or a related field would be highly regarded What we offer
