About the HomeBupa Merrimac is a charming care home in the heart of the Gold Coast. It is close to the local community with schools and shopping centres nearby. 10kms from the CBD, it consists of 98 beds, with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.Benefits of BupaSupportive, collaborative, and caring team cultureContinual learning and development opportunitiesFlexible working shifts and arrangementsRelocation and accommodation assistance availableInternal transfers across our care homesSponsorship opportunities available to eligible workersAbout the RoleAs an Enrolled Nurse, your genuine passion for helping others and making a difference to our resident's quality of life will be evident in everything you do, as will your ability to empathise and put yourself in their shoes.Pay rate ranges between $32.67 - $33.52 per hour and is dependent on experience.DutiesDeliver the highest quality, person-first care to our residents under the direction of the Clinical Care TeamEnsure safe medication administration, best practice wound care and clinical support for our residents, in line with resident needs and legislative requirementsSupport the Clinical Care Manager with the management and completion of the EN ACFI assessmentsActively engage in handovers with the Clinical Care Team to ensure continuity of care across shiftsParticipate in person-first care planning and evaluation for residentsAdhere to all relevant legislative requirements and quality guidelinesSkills and ExperienceDiploma of Nursing (Endorsed)Current registration with AHPRA is essentialExperience in delivering personal care within an aged care settingThe ability to work as part of a tight-knit teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood clinical observation skillsA strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and OutcomesCultureWe all share the same purpose at Bupa Aged Care.
