At UGL, we are seeking interest from Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Maintenance Engineers to join our Fuels & Energy East business where we work closely to deliver solutions to our customers across Australia.
We have long-term key contracts with global organisations and are continuously developing our skillset to evolve in the Energy and Fuel Terminal market.
The role of the Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer is key within our team and will be responsible for supporting the maintenance delivery for terminals along the East Coast of Australia, leading the maintenance program by providing technical expertise through working with a team of various disciplines, to provide a safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance program.
About the Role Delivery of maintenance services to Fuel Terminals under the PortfolioProvide technical advice and support on instrument and control engineering to the field operations and maintenance teamsTroubleshoot control and instrumentation systems to understand the probable cause of failure and develop solutions to reduce recurrenceDesign and implement control strategies for the assigned Operating AreaSupport the coordination and planning of E I&C maintenance activitiesDevelop and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of site maintenanceEstablish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with other members of the specialist and regional teams both in project delivery and asset management.About You Tertiary Engineering bachelor qualification (Electrical / Mechatronics / Control Systems) or similar5+ years demonstrated experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Systems design, engineering, maintenance or commissioning within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Chemical industriesExtensive working knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control deliverablesExperience in the design, selection, configuration and installation of different types of InstrumentationKnowledge of Australian & International codes and standards, good engineering practice and the applicable statutory requirements with respect to Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems.What We Offer Opportunities to grow, back yourself and achieveThe chance to join a 9,000+ strong organisation owned by the CIMIC Group, one of the world's leading international contractorsBenefits and discounts for you & your familyA culture that values diversity and innovation, evolving with market changes and new technologiesAbout Us UGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
