They will act as a reviewer for key processes within fund operations, such as monthly pricing, investor cashflows, and financial reporting, and be the first point of escalation in the event of any issues. A strong technical accounting knowledge and extensive experience within private capital is crucial.You will report to the head of private capital administration.What you will do:Responsible for managing the Private Equity Accounting group(s).Conduct performance management, identify training and development needs, and establish performance standards.Make staffing decisions and ensure resources are available to accomplish priorities.Participate in developing/providing input and support to the strategic plan and budget management process.Provide additional leadership support within large specialized groups.Carry out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.Conduct performance management and career development processes.Develop periodic goals, organize work, set short-term priorities, and ensure timely and accurate completion of the work.About You:Excellent oral and written communication skills.In-depth functional/industry knowledge.Highly flexible and adaptable to change.Technical skills/systems knowledge.Leadership and organizational skills.Experience:A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required/preferred.Related industry qualification is required/preferred.Working with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture.
