Personal Care Worker

At Bene Aged Care's St. Paul's facility in Hahndorf, you'll be part of a caring and supportive team, providing essential assistance to residents to help them achieve greater independence and a higher quality of life.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering respectful, person-centered care in a beautiful, tranquil environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide physical, emotional, and social support to residents according to their personalized care plans.Assist with daily living tasks while respecting residents' preferences and ensuring their dignity.Report changes in residents' health to the Registered/Enrolled Nurse.Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with quality and safety standards.Collaborate with the team to deliver personalized care that supports residents' independence and well-being.Key Performance Areas Personal & Professional Development: Continuously update skills and knowledge to meet role requirements and industry standards.Customer Service: Provide compassionate, respectful care, ensuring residents' comfort and dignity.Documentation: Keep thorough and accurate records of care and progress.Technical Skills: Deliver hands-on care as per residents' individual needs.Teamwork & Communication: Work effectively with colleagues and provide support to new staff.Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in quality improvement and safety initiatives.Minimum Requirements Certificate III in Aged CareKnowledge of aged care-related issues and practicesCurrent National Police CertificateExperience in an aged care environmentAbility to speak ItalianWhy Join Us?
