The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced legal secretary to join our insurance team on a full-time basis.
You will be part of a dynamic team that provides administrative and secretarial support to fee earners at different levels (including principal level).
Your main responsibilities will include:
Opening and closing filesDrafting legal documents and correspondencePreparing briefs to counselEnd of month billing and reportingDiary management and arranging appointmentsLiaising with clients via email and phoneYou will need to be self-motivated, flexible and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will be an experienced legal secretary with exposure to a variety of different areas of law.
In addition to this, you will ideally have:
A minimum of three years legal secretarial experienceLitigation experience (ideally defendant insurance)Previous experience supporting fee earners at all levelsExperience using iManage and Aderant (preferred but not essential)Excellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work autonomously and collaborativelyGood interpersonal skillsExcellent time management with the ability to prioritise tasksWhat We Offer In return, McCabes will provide you with the opportunity to work with a talented team in a flexible, inclusive and innovative environment.
