The Senior BI Analyst provides business intelligence and reports to inform the decisions made by Fire Rescue Victoria to effectively manage its business. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will liaise with a broad range of stakeholders to enhance data quality and benchmarking and analytical capabilities.

The position has a strong focus on educating both custodians and end product users to ensure that reporting products are based on sound and reliable data and are suitable for their intended purpose. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will work collaboratively with other members of the BI & GIS (Business Intelligence and Geographic Information Systems) team and share their knowledge and experience to achieve team cohesion.
What you will need to Succeed To be successful in this position, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in a numeric field e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics, commerce or social science. If no tertiary qualification is held, equivalent work experience is essential.Strong experience working in a data or business analyst position.Proven experience in the professional interaction with a variety of stakeholders.Strong experience in using Business Analysis Software such as Business Objects or similar system(s).Experience in the use of relational databases.Serving the Community, valuing teamwork, having integrity, showing respect and being accountable are core values at Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV).
