Our client is a Tier 1 client in the Financial Services sector.
They are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst with expertise in data privacy and/or records management to join their team.
In this role, you will analyze, manage, and interpret complex datasets to support data-driven decision-making while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in records management.
Your insights will play a pivotal role in optimizing data governance, minimizing risks, and enhancing the organization's operational efficiency.
Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support data-driven business initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, IT, and Compliance, to ensure data practices align with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and records management standards.
Design and implement data quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
Support data privacy initiatives by identifying and mitigating risks related to data usage, storage, and sharing.
Develop and manage data classification, retention, and destruction policies in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the implementation and optimization of records management systems and workflows.
Provide expertise in data governance, contributing to the development and enforcement of policies, standards, and procedures.
Train and support team members on data privacy and records management best practices.
Monitor emerging trends and regulations in data privacy and records management to ensure the organization remains compliant and proactive.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst, with a focus on data privacy or records management in banking or financial service sector Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks.
Experience with records management processes, systems, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on data integrity.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
