Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist - Neurologist/Physician Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide clinical advice to consumers presenting to emergency departments across Regional, Rural and Remote Hospital and Health Services within Queensland.
The Queensland Telestroke Service (QTS) will enable access to safe and sustainable health care for all Queenslanders through a statewide telehealth network by providing strategic direction and coordination, tools and support, and technical capability.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide hyperacute stroke management via phone and video conferencing as part of an extended hours roster.
Build and maintain strong relationships, open communication with the healthcare team.
Work with integrity and commitment to patient, service, and organisational goals.
