Reporting to the Civil Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor will be based at our depot in Stretton. As the operations are 24/7, flexibility for night and weekend work will be required, however usual working days will be Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for the supervision of the Open Roads civil team and management of subcontractors, splitting your time between the office and site. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Ensuring productivity through the delivery of projects on time and within budgetManagement of safety, health and environment, including management of incidents and compliance with relevant standardsPlanning and scheduling of work, and the management and allocation of work ordersBuilding strong relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress and issues Required Skills and Experience:
Our ideal candidate will have previously held supervisory roles within the civil/transport/maintenance industries. We are looking for a creative thinker with a solution-focused attitude. The role requires well-developed people management skills and the ability to positively influence team morale and productivity. In addition, the following will be highly regarded:
Cert 3 or 4 in Civil Construction/Maintenance, or similarFront line management or leadership trainingMR Licence (or higher)Tickets including Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP etc. would be valued About Ventia
