About the Opportunity We are seeking Experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based at our new Atlas Mineral Sands Project. This role will entail preventative and breakdown maintenance on our onsite mobile equipment. Working closely with other members of our Site Maintenance team, this role will report to the Maintenance Supervisors. Based 180km north of Perth, this is a fantastic Drive In / Drive Out position, that can offer ongoing works. About You 3+ years' experience in a similar roleAustralian Recognised Trade CertificateDisplay a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employeesExperience in repairing and maintaining our machinery such as:CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere mining equipment.Current experience in a mining or civil engineering environment, working on large scale equipment.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret detailed plans and diagramsHold a valid Australian Drivers LicenceWillingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol ScreenResponsibilities Utilizing your organizational skills to ensure you are stocked with the required parts & tools to undertake work on site.Complete scheduled repairs and maintenance of mobile equipment in a safe and efficient manner using correct manual handling techniques. Perform diagnostics, problem solving, and fault finding accurately and in a timely manner. Strive for continuous improvement by identifying, interpreting and repair for reuse of any parts and accessories.Effectively work and communicate with other team members & clients on site to prioritize tasks and achieve deadlines.
