Legal Assistant - Expression of InterestCooper Grace Ward is a leading Australian law firm based in Brisbane that provides a wide range of legal services including corporate and commercial, property, business litigation, insurance, and family law.Due to continued growth, we invite expressions of interest from talented legal assistants eager to become part of our team. This opportunity offers the chance to engage with a diverse array of legal workgroups and corporate support teams. As this is an expression of interest, successful shortlisted candidates will be integrated into our active talent pool and notified promptly as opportunities arise.Some of the general duties you can expect in a legal assistant role with us include:Providing exceptional and proactive administrative support at a firm-wide levelCovering annual and personal leave for the wider administration teamCovering relief reception as requiredDiary management and meeting coordination with clients and key internal and external stakeholdersFile management including opening and closing files and ongoing management of electronic filesGenerally contributing to the smooth running of the teamExperienceYou will ideally have 1-3 years' legal administration experience supporting busy teams and helping to manage competing priorities. You will need to be adaptable and flexible in your role where at times you will be required to work across multiple teams. Candidates with administration experience outside of law are also encouraged to apply.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:Excellent customer service and communication skillsGreat attitude with the ability to exercise initiativeWell organized with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectivelyAbility to develop and maintain good working relationshipsEffectively work autonomously but importantly as part of a teamExcellent technical skills and understanding of software applicationsMust have the ability to work full time (8.30am – 5.00pm or 9.00am – 5.30pm)About Cooper Grace WardCooper Grace Ward is a leading independent law firm based in Brisbane.
