We are looking for the right candidate to take on the role of Project Support Officer. This is a full time role, based at our head office on the beautiful Hastings River in Port Macquarie, NSW. The Project Support Officer will report to the Project Support Office Manager and is responsible for all aspects of project coordination and administration.
These responsibilities include:
Maintaining all project performance registers including Drawing registers, Action registers, Engineering registers, Procurement registers etc. Weekly and monthly report writing Assisting with schedule and financial reports All administrative tasks associated with multiple programs including development of PowerPoint presentations Engagement with internal and external stakeholders in establishing clear lines of communication and meetings Assisting with payroll and procurement administration tasks Development of all external and internal correspondence including commercial letters and formal reports Collating all certifications and documentation for the vessels including AMSA, Class and certifying bodies. Key Accountabilities Development and maintenance of all project performance registers including Drawing registers, Action registers, Engineering registers, Procurement registers etc. Report data gathering and authoring for multiple project reports, as required Under direction from Project Managers, create PowerPoint presentations and other meeting materials Under direction from Project Managers, coordinate key internal and external stakeholders to enable clear lines of communication Development of all external and internal correspondence including commercial letters and formal reports Collating all certifications and documentation for the vessels including AMSA, Class and certifying bodies. Managing project purchase requisitions and updating budgets in line with approved and actual costs Qualifications, Skills & Experience Essential Proficiency in MS Office Clear and concise writing skills, for report writing, minute taking and presentation creation Project Management administration experience Data collection and analysis experience Desirable Expert in MS Suite and Teams Highly proficient in writing reports and presentations and developing presentations 5 years of Project Management administration experience Defence and / or Shipbuilding Project Management experience Proficient in data collection, analysis and management We deliver value for our customers through our innovative people, organisational agility, and operational excellence.
