We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.Our Port Melbourne office is our largest office in Victoria and is well-established in providing construction support, temporary works design, site investigations, and advice to clients in the infrastructure, energy, and construction space.The team of 30 is looking for a graduate geotechnical engineer or engineering geologist to help deliver local and Victoria wide projects. The role will be predominately site-based throughout Melbourne and wider Victoria. We are open to considering recent graduates to professionals with 1-2 years of experience.What You'll NeedA Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science DegreeSome experience working in a geotechnical consultancy carrying out field work tasksValid full-time working rights in AustraliaAbility to complete strenuous fieldwork tasksAbility to travel when requiredA full Australian driver's licenseA desire to work outside with a love of rocks, soil and geologyGood interpersonal skillsExceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and writtenWhat You'll GetAdditional Day Leave on BirthdayProvision of minimum of 50 hours Training / CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers Australia / Engineers New ZealandAccess to our 2-year CMW graduate training programOffice social events throughout the yearAbility to earn overtime and/or time in lieuUnfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position and we are looking for a candidate with experience in Australia and/or New Zealand.
