About the opportunity ? Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers?
As our Medium Rigid Multidrop Truck Driver , you'll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out.
You might not be working from home, but you'll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn't get better than that
You'll be Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility? Repeatedly liftin up to 30kgs Completing your own daily vehicle safety check?? Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups?? Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups About you ? ? You're a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player.
You're passionate about making a difference in the community.
You'll also need to ? Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident? Hold a relevant Medium rigid vehicle license?? Be fit enough to load and unload freight up to 30kgs, items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility? Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills? You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
