The Role Due to recently awarded long haul linear fibre projects with some of Australia's biggest Telecommunications carriers we have a new position for a HSE Manager.
The preference is for this role to be based in Sydney, however, we are open to other locations for the right candidate.
This hands-on role will require frequent travel nationally.
Reporting to the HSE Operations Manager, you will independently manage the HSE Management System for your assigned projects, providing critical advice and guidance to our operational team and contractors.
Your leadership will drive the implementation and cultivation of a robust safety culture guided by our One HSE Culture Framework.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring Operational Teams, focusing on best practices for risk mitigationDevelopment of management plans, risk registers, SWMSPartner with Projects to deliver initiatives and onboard contractorsUndertake in-field inspections and auditsInvestigate HSE incidentsServe as the primary HSE contact for the client, ensuring compliance and standards are met during auditsEnsure reporting requirements are metAbout you Diploma in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or similarA minimum of 10 years' experience in a high-risk industryInternal/Lead Auditors qualificationLead Investigator i.e.
