The Senior Infrastructure Technical Lead within the Mainframe Infrastructure Services team is required to lead and support Westpac's complex mainframe environment within their technical expertise.
The role plays an important role in the development and maintenance of technical solutions within the Mainframe and ensures that the detailed design and operations are fit for purpose.
Main role and responsibilities are: Oversee Technical Leads managing various initiatives and lead individual initiatives if necessary.Take responsibility for delivering projects and changes on the Mainframe platform.Ensure that the technical aspects of projects are completed within scope, on time, and to the required quality standards.Collaborate with Project Managers and Infrastructure Leads, providing necessary information.Identify and track appropriate risk management measures.Report on the progress of programs. What do I need? Proven IT industry experience with mainframes.Experience in managing complex IT infrastructure, including planning, implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
]Strong knowledge of mainframe infrastructure, technologies, and products.Experience working on large transition programs.Keen attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to consolidate multiple initiatives into a cohesive program view. What's it like to work there?
