We are excited to announce the opening of our new Brand Collective footwear stores in Myer across the country, bringing together iconic brands including Reebok, Julius Marlow, Hush Puppies, Volley, Clarks and Grosby.
The opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Channel Trading Manager to oversee and optimize the trading operations for Men's Footwear across multiple brands in the Myer channel.
The role involves managing product assortments, stock levels, marketing initiatives, and collaborating with internal and Myer teams to drive sales performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Channel & Trading Management: Own the end-to-end trading strategy for Men's Footwear at Myer, ensuring product assortments are aligned with brand goals and Myer's requirements.
Oversee stock productivity, manage replenishment, clearance, and repeat orders.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with brand teams and Myer to coordinate buying, planning, marketing, and operations.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams, Myer concession teams, and other stakeholders.Marketing & Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with teams to develop and execute marketing plans and oversee visual merchandising in-store and online to align with brand strategies.Operational Oversight & Reporting: Manage data integration, budgets, and reporting to optimize stock management and ensure promotional activities deliver results.
Regularly review operational performance and drive improvements.Leadership & Team Management: Lead a small team, providing direction and coaching to ensure smooth execution of tasks and efficient communication across all parties.The skills and experience you offer us: Proven experience in managing multi-brand channels, preferably in retail or concessions.Strong expertise in product assortment planning, stock management, and trading strategies.Ability to manage cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience in budget management, data integration, and trade reporting.Meet stock turn targets, minimize markdowns, and avoid stockouts/overstocks.Hands-on with a strategic mindset, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.Proactive, adaptable, and skilled in both high-level strategy and detailed operational execution.This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a key retail channel, drive performance, and work closely with multiple teams to deliver outstanding results.
