Employment Type: Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 8am-2pm
As a Casual Cook at Goodstart, you'll create delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies, becoming a cherished part of our community.
Your passion for food and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in shaping the daily experiences of the children in our care.
In this role, you will: Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergiesUse your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre DirectorMaintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienicWhat Goodstart can offer you: You'll receive above award wages and a casual leave loading allowanceSupportive and friendly team with head office support and excellent resourcesComprehensive induction and training programFirst Nations SupportYou'll need: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare settingCurrent SA Working with Children CheckWilling to travel between other local services and have flexible availability between Monday-FridayClick 'Apply Now' and submit your application.
