This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys varied clinical work in the addictions.
There is a range of services including OAT, consultation-liaison with the larger base hospitals and smaller sites, Addiction Medicine clinics both in a virtual and face-to-face setting.There are 3 registrars working in addiction medicine/psychiatry as well as experienced nursing and allied health staff.
You will be joining a committed team working to provide addiction service in the rural setting.The role will also involve supervision of medical and non-medical staff and the opportunity to teach medical and other students.
Research is strongly encouraged and we have good relationships with a number of Universities, including Charles Sturt and Sydney.

MHDA is a District-wide clinical stream with clinical sub-streams including Adult, Older Persons, Children and Adolescents, Forensics, Rehabilitation, and Drug & Alcohol.
There are both hospital and community-based services included in the Drug & Alcohol stream and one of only two Involuntary Drug and Alcohol Treatment units in NSW operates in Orange.We have a committed workforce for a diverse range of services across our large and interesting region that includes regional towns and more rural and remote settings.To apply, please address the following Selection CriteriaEvidence of being a MEDICAL EXPERT, including medical degree (registered/registerable) with the Medical Board of Australia, Fellowship of the RACP or RANZCP, with appropriate qualifications (e.g.
