About the Role/s
We are seeking professional resources with 3+ years experience in Defence or Federal Government Procurement & Contract Management.
You will work directly with our clients (supported by the extant team) to provide complex and strategic commercial and procurement solutions including:
Identifying and managing
commercial risks
related to procurement and contract management.
Strong understanding of
probity
requirements for Commonwealth procurement.
Experience in providing accurate and timely commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders together with preparing
internal briefs, approval submissions, and reports.
Contract and Deed reviews.
Commercial Negotiations to establish new arrangements.
Procurement documentation and system compliance health checks.
Stakeholder engagement workshops.
Compliance reviews and drafting of contract terms – particularly for the application of new technologies.
Strategic procurement activities (including
Tender Evaluation and Probity Advice ).
Contract and spend reporting and analysis.
Transforming procurement policies and processes.
Establishment and implementation of
sourcing strategies.
The ability to hold & maintain AGSVA clearance is essential.
Necessary criteria:
Certified qualifications in commercial management.
Practical experience in Australian Government in
procurement and contract management.
Excellent pragmatic negotiation skills.
Practical & working knowledge of
CPR's & the PGPA.
Ability to work autonomously as an SME in your field.
Nice to have:
Legal qualifications are an advantage.
Defence experience is highly regarded.
