Senior Electrical EngineerAbout our client:Our client is a leading engineering services company delivering water/wastewater, oil and gas, and industrial/manufacturing projects to customers in Australia. They have dedicated teams of Engineers committed to delivering high quality service from design through to commissioning and implementation. They have a long history of delivering successful projects and they are highly regarded in the sectors they serve.Job Description:Our client is currently seeking a self-starting and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering team in Brisbane. In this role, you will play a key part in projects including upgrades to refineries, water treatment plants, and manufacturing facilities. If you are a professional who can work with minimal supervision and you have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Develop electrical designs for projects won and for proposals.Prepare electrical documentation including drawings and reports, diagrams, load and equipment lists.Provide electrical input into detailed scopes of work.Analyse vendor and subcontractor designs and advise on suitability and compliance.Consult with vendor teams and internal teams regarding project schedules.Provide technical advice regarding electrical equipment and procurement.Provide support during commissioning/implementation phase.Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, along with RPEQ.Experience in hazardous area design.Electrical Engineering experience in power and water/wastewater, manufacturing, and/or oil and gas.Experience in dealing with electrical reticulation inside buildings.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong teamwork and communication skills.What's in it for you:Work on projects with global resources and manufacturing clients.Collaborative, supportive and team-based work environment.Be part of a dynamic and innovative team.Commitment from the leadership team to individual professional growth and career development through ongoing training and mentorship.Competitive salary package.How to Apply:Click on the Apply button or for more information, please email James Pengelly on ****** note:You must be resident in Australia and have full working rights for Australia for this role.
