Process Operators

The Role The successful person will become a member of our hardworking and committed team who are responsible for operating in the Utilities department with a variety of fixed-plant circuits, which will include a selection of the following technologies:
Sulphuric acid & process gas productionPower supply (gas & steam turbines) and Package Boiler operationsWater treatment production consisting of Potable and Demineralised waterInstrument and plant air supply to the processing plantProduction of Hydrogen Sulphide for the precipitation of Nickel in the Refinery departmentAbout You This role would suit a motivated, focused and professional person, looking for a long-term career within a technically challenging and rewarding work environment.
You will also have:
HRWL in Turbine Operations as well as Advanced Boiler operationsPrevious experience in Sulphuric Acid production will be advantageousA current and valid HR Drivers Licence (Advantageous)LF Licence & Front-End Loader Experience (Advantageous)Previous experience operating any of the above mentioned processesSound knowledge of mechanical and chemical processes and chemical reagent hazardsDemonstrated familiarity with individual and team based risk assessment tools and HSE proceduresExperience with systems and procedures used within a similar process industryFamiliar working with permit to work proceduresWhat We Offer We offer a diverse range of roles across our multi-pit mining operations through to our complex and technically challenging hydrometallurgical process plant:
