Senior Distribution Engineer

The Role Due to our healthy pipeline of projects, we are looking to hire a senior distribution engineer / designer to complement our highly skilled design and engineering team at our Burswood office.
The office is located close to the Perth CBD, however, with easy access and free parking nearby.
Duties include but are not limited to: Overhead distribution design modelling 415V to 33kVUnderground distribution extensionsUnderground distribution network upgradesPreparation of design packages for client approvalPreparation of Bills of materials and estimationTraining and support of junior team membersLiaising with internal and external stakeholdersApply content and application of local utility standardsDemonstrate design innovation and cost optimization as part of the design processSite inspections including:Scoping notesSurveySoil resistivity measurementsYour Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering or minimum 2 – 5 years industry experienceDemonstrated experience with power utilities (Western Power / Horizon Power)Skills to work independentlyProficient with Western Power distribution design softwareCAD Software proficiency in MicroStationCandidates must be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone.
