We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual wishing to obtain their Commercial Cookery qualifications.
As an Apprentice Chef at the Mollymook Golf Club, you will have the unique opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of our experienced culinary team.
You will be involved in various aspects of food preparation and service, helping create exquisite dishes that delight our customers.
This apprenticeship program will provide you with hands-on experience, mentorship, and formal training to develop your culinary skills and knowledge.
Reporting to the Head Chef, personal presentation and creating a professional impression as an ambassador for Mollymook Golf Club at all times will be of the utmost importance.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of experienced chefs.Learn and follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace.Develop knife skills and various cooking techniques.Assist with stock control and ordering supplies.Embrace food safety and hygiene standards.Collaborate with the team to create innovative and delightful dishes.Participate in training and development activities as required.The successful applicant must have the following attributes: A passion to become a qualified Chef with a commitment to food safety and hygiene.A desire for a long term position.A friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude.The ability to thrive and excel under pressure.Great teamwork and excellent communication skills.Reliability.Good problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and well presented.Be able to work on a flexible roster which includes weekends and nights.Enthusiasm and passion for cooking.Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.A positive attitude and a team player mindset.What We Offer: A structured apprenticeship program with hands-on training.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative culinary environment.Guidance and mentorship from experienced chefs.Competitive compensation and career growth potential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
