As a Fleet Reliability Engineer, you will be working within the Fleet Management Team responsible for providing Continuing Airworthiness Management Services to the Qantas Group airlines.
You will manage the aircraft Reliability program, co-ordinate reliability initiatives, assist in the management of the maintenance program and assessment of modifications that ensure the fleet continues to maintain the excellent safety record of the organisation, improving the fleet operational performance while optimising the cost of the asset.
You'll have: A Professional Engineering degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalentA sound understanding of applicable MSG, RCM or similar methodologies used in developing scheduled maintenance requirementsStrong demonstrated skills in problem solving and analytical thinking, both individually and as part of a teamEffective communication and collaboration skillsThe ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writingFamiliarity with quality standards and statistical analysis methodsThe ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions, even when presented with incomplete or uncertain dataThe ability to develop business cases, weighing cost and risk against benefit to the businessThe ability to prioritise and manage multiple conflicting deadlines, still with attention to detailThe ability to utilise data analytics and visualisation tools to get useful insights from the large amounts of informationCertification in Asset Management (desirable)Basic knowledge of programming languages (desirable)Why Qantas?
