Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Aide with strong interpersonal and organisational skills to join our team.
The role of the Teacher's Aide works as part of a holistic team across K-12 to support students who have been identified as having specific learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Support students by implementing learning adjustments, in consultation with the classroom teacher and the diverse learning teacher.
Provide scheduled in-class support within an inclusive learning environment.
Provide physical assistance to students in the areas of mobility, eating, and personal hygiene, both within the school and during off-site activities.
Supervise and support students during scheduled breaks.
Assist with exam/assessment provisions (e.g., reader/writer).
Organise specialist equipment/aids and assistive technology as required.
Attend excursions and outings as required.
Qualifications:
Certificate 3 or 4 in Education Support.
Ability to use technology in a variety of formats.
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Experience working with students who have a vision impairment would be beneficial.

The Organisation:
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.

This position involves working with children.
The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD'S Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.

CSPD promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
