Job Description BaristaAs a Starbucks Barista with Fairmont Hotels and Accor, you will be an ambassador for exceptional service.
Your warm, personal attention and passion for coffee offerings will make guests feel unique and valued.
What you will be doing: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceAssist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful wayFollow Starbucks policies, procedures and service standardsHave full knowledge of beverage lists and promotionsHave full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageAvailable to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends, and/or holidaysAbility to work as part of a teamOther tasks and projects as assignedQualifications Your experience and skills include: Previous experience as a Barista an assetFood handling certificatePrevious point of sale system experience an assetHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesFluency in English both verbal and non-verbalCompute basic arithmeticPhysical aspects of the position include but are not limited to: Exert physical effort in carrying 5lbs to 40lbsEndure various physical movements throughout the work areasReach 1 to 2 feetRemain in stationary position and standing for 6 to 8 hours throughout work shiftVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
