About the role:Tradewind is a leading community services recruitment agency and we are seeking a passionate and experienced Sexual Assault Counsellor Advocate to join a dedicated team in Swan Hill.
In this role, you will offer direct support to adults, young people, children, and their families who have experienced sexual assault.
Your expertise will guide clients through trauma-informed therapeutic interventions, case management, outreach, and crisis support, ensuring each individual receives the care and support they need.
Key Duties: Deliver client-led, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.Provide comprehensive case management services.Conduct outreach and crisis support as needed.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.Advocate for the rights and needs of survivors.Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in trauma-informed therapeutic practices.Strong case management and crisis intervention skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.A commitment to advocating for survivors of sexual assault.How to apply:To apply, follow the link provided or apply on our website.
