Vocationally Registered General Practitioner required for a Locum in Launceston, TAS
We are seeking a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (VR GP) to join our Medicare Urgent Care Clinic over the December/January period.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, short-term, episodic care for urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening.
Benefits: $200 per hourFlights and accommodation providedHighly skilled nursing and administrative supportCollaborative team environment with multiple GPs (no solo work)Purpose-built urgent care clinic with modern facilitiesSix dedicated treatment beds and a designated resuscitation areaAdvanced medical equipment: defibrillator, ECG machine, IV fluids, emergency medicationsFlexible working hours: Clinic open 2pm – 8pm19AB doctors encouraged to apply (Launceston is a DPA location)Urgent Care Services: Minor illnesses: respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary tract infections, and STIsMinor injuries: closed fractures, lacerations, simple eye injuries, and minor burnsProcedures offered: wound management, abscess incision and drainage, basic fracture management, IV antibiotics and fluids, catheter management, and foreign body removal from ear/noseEssential Criteria: FRACGP or FACRRMAdvanced Skills Training in Emergency Medicine preferredBLS or ALS2 certification preferredUnconditional AHPRA registrationEligible for a Medicare Provider NumberRecent experience in Emergency Medicine or rural medicineExcellent clinical skills and a passion for patient-centred careCurrent Advanced Life Support accreditation and professional indemnity insurance**APPLY NOW**Please send your enquiries, along with an updated CV to or apply via our website www.trustmedicalrecruitment.com.au
