Medical Science Liaison - Medicinal Cannabis | Full Time - Queensland Australian Natural Therapeutics Group (ANTG) produce exclusive high-quality cannabinoid based medicinal treatments to meet the needs of Australian patients.
About the role This full-time role will partner with the existing Queensland MSL and is responsible for the Queensland North geographic territory.
The role is responsible for expanding our network of Health Care Professionals in this designated territory.
This is a dynamic role that will educate, advise and assist prescribing of HCPs through the Australian framework to prescribe ANTG's range of medicinal cannabis (MC).
Main Responsibilities Increase awareness, understanding and adoption of ANTG medicinal cannabis products.
Maintain and grow our Health Care Professionals network and patient base throughout the designated territory.
Establish and maintain relationships with Doctors, Specialists, Pharmacists and Nurses.
Create and implement a territory plan in line with the national business plan to achieve territory targets.
Organise webinars, conferences, educational events to drive awareness about the uses of MC within the regulatory framework in Australia.
Attend conferences and Scientific meetings.
Utilise data driven insights as well as other reports to ensure activities remain aligned and effective in building awareness and trust in ANTG's range of cannabinoid therapies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide market feedback and shape ANTG's strategies.
Identify, analyse and communicate relevant changes on the market.
Provide regular reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of activities undertaken.
Participate on internal projects as required.
Respond promptly to medical enquiries in a manner that meets scientific and clinical needs.
Contribute to the development of marketing materials.
Other duties as requested.
About you Minimum 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry in a field sales role with experience in the areas of medicinal cannabis, chronic pain, chronic diseases, neurology, natural therapies or mental health highly regarded.
Experience within the medicinal cannabis environment.
Demonstrable record of growth success in pharmacy and/or pharmaceutical products.
Territory management experience working autonomously with a strategic mindset.
Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications.
Requirements Science/clinical qualifications such as BPharm, Ph D, and/or MBBS, and/or MSc are well regarded.
Ability to build growth in an emerging market.
Strong knowledge of the cannabis plant.
Maintain and grow an existing network of Healthcare Professionals and understanding of the market dynamics.
An ability to engage and influence HCP's and leaders at all levels.
An established network of cannabis practitioners is highly desirable.
Self-motivated, disciplined and highly driven to meet goals and deadlines.
Ability to educate and influence and manage varying priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer focus, business acumen and the ability to think outside the box.
An understanding of the regulatory environment involving Medicinal Cannabis.
Australian Residency and full working rights.
Full driving license.
