Your Role As the System Safety Engineering Coordinator, you will be part of the NGA Engineering Function System Safety team, which provides coordination of System Safety Program activities on assigned NGA Programs and Captures.
You will be responsible for:
Provide system safety coordination on assigned programs and capturesManage platform hazards realised in operations, maintenance, design, or arising from changes in the configuration, role, and environment, to ensure that the hazards are addressedMaintain program System Safety Program PlansProviding advice to program management, engineering and technical staff, regarding their responsibilities within the system safety program, and the broader safety management systemAbout You As a Systems Safety professional you will have the ability to build a broad array of working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
You will have:
An Engineering or other relevant Degree with relevant experience as a Systems Safety ProfessionalKnowledge of aircraft certification standards, MIL-STD-882, ARP4761 or other System safety standardsExperience in completing detailed risk analysisStrong Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple disciplinesWhat we Offer Whatever your role, life stage or background, you can shape your career here in your way with highly challenging work, great colleagues and career development, plus a range of flexible benefits and working patterns.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
