An opportunity exists for a skilled and adaptable professional to fill the full-time role of Operations Manager at our foodservice branch located in Port Macquarie.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehousing and distribution operations within the branch, including monitoring expenses related to transport, equipment, and the warehouse.
This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.
Duties:
Control transport, equipment and warehouse expenses including rosters and wages Promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered to Maintain all vehicle and equipment service and maintenance schedules Coach, mentor and execute performance management as required Conduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food systems Generate, analyse and maintain reports Skills and Experience:
A current forklift licence (essential) Excellent communication, organisation and managerial skills Ability to work under pressure and as part of a diverse team Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems Able to provide leadership and motivation to a team Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment medical This position is ideally suited to a commercially minded individual who is looking for a diverse role with a secure and reputable company who believes that people perform best when they are empowered, accountable and recognised.
