Salary Package : $165k+
APAC FM is seeking a talented BMS Controls Engineer for a leading client within their Critical Environments team, where you will become the subject matter expert in the field.

Key Responsibilities : Provide technical expertise and become the BMS Subject Matter Expert, focusing on system maintenance, optimization, and root cause analysis. Maintain systems to the highest standards, ensuring optimal functionality and preventing errors through system backups and compliance with ICT & cybersecurity protocols. Lead and manage small-scale improvement projects to enhance system performance. Support a regional team across Asia, providing infrastructure support for critical systems. Implement energy efficiency strategies and data analysis to improve system performance and reliability. Manage and resolve incident management issues related to controls, including event investigations and root cause analysis. Address performance issues within Niagara applications, ensuring smooth communication protocols and resolving lags or processor utilization problems. Collaborate with site operations teams during maintenance and post-construction to ensure integration and strong communication. Lead DCS projects to optimize data centre operations and ensure safety and adherence to change management procedures. Required Skills & Experience : Minimum of 3+ years in the maintenance, programming, and integration of Tridium Niagara-based control systems (essential); data centre experience is preferred. Familiarity with mission-critical infrastructure such as redundant electrical systems and chilled water plant control strategies. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, UPS, and plant automation protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, DNP3). Expertise in PLC coding, including ladder logic and DDC visual logic. Hands-on experience in plant optimization and tuning, with the ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Strong technical background in DDC / PLC logic, Bacnet / Modbus configuration, ICT networking, and server administration. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASHRAE, BCA, and AS.
