General Dentist (full time or part time) With new year comes new beginnings and hence, our team at Shellharbour Dentists is expanding.
As part of the Illawarra Dentists group, following our successful practices – 'Woonona Dentists' and 'Dapto Dentists', we are expanding our reach and welcome you to Shellharbour Dentists.
The practice has been serving the local community for over 16 years and has built a loyal patient base over that time.
Located in an idyllic seaside suburb in Shellharbour, it is a five minutes' drive from local beaches and housed within an area of notable population growth in the last 10 years
An exceptional network of clinicians is housed within our family who have attained a well-rewarded reputation in the Illawarra region with superior patient experience and clinical experience.
This opportunity is for you if you want to join an existing clinical facility with an open mind, loyal patient base and clinical freedom to keep up with the demand for quality dentistry in this area and with time, potential to seek an opportunity to jointly lead the practice with us (co-ownership).

Who are we looking for?
Motivated and committed to growth Provider of a comprehensive range of superior quality general dental treatment Patient management skills with apt communication and clinical and diagnostic acumen Desire to stay long term Should have full AHPRA dental registration with own dental indemnity insurance and working with children's check Experienced, recent or new graduate – all are welcome (we believe in learning from new experiences and are happy to support this) Willingness to apply for or have your own ABN / company structure / sole trader structure What's on offer?
Joining an exceptional group of clinicians with expertise in all aspects of dentistry - general comprehensive care including but not limited to preventative care, working on local community dental advocacy projects, restorative dentistry (crown, bridgework, case oriented/dependent full mouth rehabilitation and smile makeover), cosmetic dentistry (orthodontics, prosthodontics), surgical and implant dentistry and endodontic management.
Full time or part-time position (as a three chair practice – we have flexible offerings in terms of days and times) An existing busy practice that is joining us under our management 40% commission Liveable and commutable location – we have several dentists who reside locally and others who commute, and if commuting from Sydney - Shellharbour is a pleasant 1hr drive against traffic (+ longer depending on where in Sydney you're coming from).
Mentoring is available, but you should be able to work independently and able to rebook & refer in house as needed Excellent network of dentists in our team and local specialists in the area should you require further assistance Long term job opportunity and with time, the opportunity to partly venture into jointly leading the practice (co-ownership) How to apply?
