Centacare - Where Expertise Meets Empathy The Centacare Early Childhood & Community team is committed to supporting the Bathurst Community's needs, particularly children, young people, and families that are Aboriginal and/or experiencing vulnerabilities.
Reporting to the Manager, Early Childhood & Community Programs, the Community Programs Facilitator will undertake the delivery of program initiatives and outcomes in accordance with service specifications and relevant funding contracts.

About You You are a proactive individual; a team player with excellent communication skills, stakeholder and community engagement experience.
You have a genuine passion for the sector and an understanding of one's contribution to the bigger picture.
Skills and Experience Educational qualifications and experience relevant to the roleExperience working with children, families, and communities including those from disadvantaged, vulnerable, and diverse backgroundsUnderstanding of the needs of the community to support children, young people, and families to thriveExperience in early childhood or community-related workExperience in delivering group programs for adults and childrenExcellent communication skills, networking, and relationship building with a range of stakeholdersUndertake data collection and complete reporting requirementsFirst Aid Certificate and Child Protection, or willingness to achieveHow Do You Apply Considered applications will require a statement addressing the above eight (8) Skills and Experience points and a resume including two current referees.Applications Close 5pm Friday 29th November 2024.A copy of the Position Description is available on request.
