By joining our experienced and innovative national rail team, you would be an instrumental team member and be part of the continued, successful delivery of projects within our range of diverse rail project portfolio within Queensland and beyond.
This is a diverse role that will allow you to continue to grow your career at the highest level - one that would no doubt add more value to your current design experience and skillset, plus also see you be part of the future footprint of communities in QLD for generations to come.
Strategically important to our future growth and impact, we are looking for talented Design Engineering professionals - those with a can-do attitude, who are consultative, able to prioritise their work and get things done.
The successful candidate will be a team player and be able to work with a range of stakeholders including influencing senior leaders both internally and externally.

What you'll do:You will be taking a leading role within our QLD Rail team and will be providing strong Design guidance and oversight to projects within the local team.
You believe in striving to offer best practice consulting services to clients, throughout QLD and beyond, and relish in opportunities to lead and collaborate on international projects.
Your passion and technical expertise will be deployed across a number of diverse projects, and will expose you to a variety of industries, such as transport, ports, mining, renewable energy, property and buildings, and also government sectors to further continue the growth of an already successful and reputable local geotechnical capability.
You will also be tasked in mentoring and the development of more junior engineers, ensuring that we are cultivating and supporting our fantastic Engineers of tomorrow.
About YouYou will:
Have proven junior to mid level experience in the delivery of Rail, Roads & Highways detailed design projectsBe a qualified Engineer or equivalentHave a proven ability to develop and expand client networksHold strong communication skills - both verbal and written including strong report writing skillsBe a demonstrated team playerBe capable and willing to mentor junior personnel and develop internal capabilityHave a proven track record of managing teams and delivering large detailed design multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects on time and to budgetHold a sound understanding of commercial principlesYou're also likely to be a:
